Integrated in the agrarian mosaic of Terra Alta, we have a series of vineyards that grant us SINGULAR WINES WITH UNIQUE NAMES: El Quintà , Abrisa’t, El Templari, the Coma d’En Pou and the Dolç.
El QuintĂ
White Grenache
The word QuintĂ refers to a series of usually small plots of land belonging to the same owner. In this case we have named El QuintĂ the wine produced from TWO SMALL VINEYARDS known as the Cometa and Coll de Batea. These vineyards located to the west of the town of Gandesa, in the direction of the neighbouring region of Matarranya, are east and west facing in an area of small gentle slopes.
The Cometa and Coll de Batea grow revered WHITE GRENACHES planted before 1948 that give small, golden, loose grains of fruit. The soil is a fine sand of a granular nature (franco-“pinyolenca”) where silica has sedimented in a limestone environment forming the characteristic PANAL SOIL.
White grenache, fermented and aged in barrels for 6 months.
